Andy? Who??
Hi!!!!!!!
My name is Andy... or "Andrew", depending on if you're my mum or not.
I'm the computer guy at YWAM Melbourne.
I also work in the office, as the "Office Manager"...
... which is a glorified title for "Receptionist".
I did my DTS in 2003 after I came to the Lord a couple of months earlier. I remember praying and asking God if I could do a Christian bible college or some sort of Christian study because I had no idea about God and who he was and what he likes and what makes Him tick all that.
My prayers were answered when a team of YWAM'ers came to my small church in Chelsea, and advertised the "DTS" program. The Lord spoke to me and I knew that this is where He wanted me to go. So I had a bunch of money saved up (for something else) but I handed it all over to pay my lecture fees.
God really opened my eyes to Himself as well as the church and I instantly felt part of a family when I arrived. I had brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers away from home. God's a nice guy.
Anyways I finish my DTS and I'm like WHAT NOW? shortly I was approached to join staff, and I did. And have been doing ever since.
How you can PRAY for Andy:
1. More intimacy and closeness to God
2. His work with YWAM and direction for ministry
2. His finances (he volunteers full-time and relies on donations)
Also please pray for Andy's family back at home whom he loves alot.
